Also we guide regulators develop guidelines and rules for the smooth implementation of extant laws. We provide technical support and guidance for carrying out law reviews and developing proposals for amendments or re-enactment of extant Insurance laws.

We offer technical assistance for regulatory staffs on both institutional and domiciliary basis. We assist regulators manage recapitalization and consolidation exercises. We provide general advisory on mergers and acquisitions. We guide regulators develop regulations and guidelines and other frameworks for recapitalization and consolidation. We help manage relationships between regulators involved in recapitalization and consolidation. In addition, we carry out post recapitalization inspection for capital verifications purposes.

We undertake on-site inspection of insurance institution on both routine and special inspection basis. We also act as special investigators of insurance institutions. We act as managers of failing insurance institutions and also undertake liquidation of failed insurance institutions.
